To the wandering soul that has found it’s way to my lil’ site, I sincerely apologise for every horrible thing that has ever happened to you up until this point, and I’d like to reassure you that it will now be all better. For you see…

I am the greatest human that has probably ever walked this Earth.

Is what I’d like to say.

But like, give me a few a years. We’re still in Chapter 4 of the great tale that is the life of Frank D. French. Wait at least until Chapter 6.

I hear that’s when it starts getting really good.

What I am though is just an ordinary 20 something-year-old guy that lives in Adelaide, South Australia with big dreams, high hopes and a drive to eventually rule the world.

It’ll happen. Trust.

A lil’ bit o’ history!

I was originally born in the Phillippines.

But moved to Australia when I was very young and have lived here ever since. English is my mother tongue now and unfortunately, I can’t speak any Tagalog anymore (for now at least).

So to all my Filos reading this at the moment, I’m sure you can understand my pain when you can hear all the aunties are giggling about you – and you just know it –  but have to silently accept the fact that you’ll never know what they’re actually talking about.

Oh, the injustice of it all!

Growing up, I was a bit of a rascal here and there. But ya know, growing up with a Filipino mother, you learned very quickly on how you ought to properly behave lest face the legendary temper of a Filipino woman.

In school, I wasn’t the best. Just above average at best. I was a bit of a class clown but one that genuinely enjoyed learning when I found the lessons engaging or felt they were worth my time. I was fortunate to meet a lot of my close friends and even my beautiful future Queen of the world – when I eventually rule it – during my full-time schooling period.

Then ya boi entered the big bad world. (I did just use ‘ya boi’. Get over it.) Well, kind of. He went to University first. Which, is pretty much close enough. It was during my time whilst I studied a Bachelor of Media Arts at the University of South Australia that I really got to see who I wanted to become.

Then boom. He graduated.

…And it was out into the big bad world.

But for real this time.

These days I spend my time working a 9-5 job whilst working on a number of different projects on the side. They include:

  • Freelance Writing
  • Running an Anime, Games & Pop-culture apparel store
    Check out Sora Apparel
  • Online Stories
  • Other lil’ side-hustles

And of course, my first manuscript for my debut novel.

One of the biggest goals of my life is to publish a successful book. And I’m now in the process of trying to hit that goal. So stay tuned and watch this space. Big things are coming.

Big adventures start with even bigger dreams!

My philosophy in life is to enjoy as much of it as you can when you can.

The ‘when’ is the important part.

I’m a strong believer in working hard for your goals, but in the little moments that you get to really enjoy life; whether it’s going out with mates, spending time with family or just watching a sunset on the commute home. Enjoy it. Live to the fullest at that moment. And soak up all the magic that this world has to offer for that fleeting time.

As I said at the start of this page, I eventually want to rule the world. I want an incredible conglomerate empire with Frank D. French becoming a household name. But at the same time, I want to enjoy the ride that takes me there. Guess I’m just selfish like that.

I’m an extraordinarily average guy. I’m not ridiculously smart nor am I athletic in any way. I wouldn’t say I’m particularly skilled in any specific field either.

But what I do have is an infectious personality, a bunch of really good humans on my team, a can-do attitude and a work ethic that my mother beat into me with a flip-flop. These are the tools I plan on using to get to where I want to be. And if on the off chance that I don’t achieve my goal of world domination, I’ll at least be able to say I had fun trying.

Hope you stick around to see it happen.
